The dedication to transforming the daily educational landscape reached a major milestone in 2023 when Bunnell Elementary was named one of only four schools in Flagler County to be recognized as an Apple Distinguished School. The momentum of this campus-wide success directly contributed to a broader community achievement the following year, when Flagler Schools was officially designated as an Apple Distinguished District.

Today, Apple technology is seamlessly woven into the vision, culture, and daily learning experiences of nearly 1,100 Bullpup students, empowering them to find their unique voices, explore their creativity, and take true ownership of their learning.

Authentic Learning: The Farm to Table Program

Bunnell Elementary leverages Apple products to enhance authentic, hands-on learning. A premier example of this integration is the school's celebrated Farm to Table program, where students use iPads to actively drive agricultural and culinary projects:

• Scientific Inquiry: Students use digital tools to research crops, monitor local weather conditions, track plant growth, and make data-driven decisions throughout the growing process.

• Creative Media: As harvests take shape, students document their progress by creating interactive garden tours and producing a student-led cooking show.

• The Bullpup Italian Bistro: Culminating during Teacher Appreciation Week, students collaborate to run a fully operational bistro. Using Apple technology, they design menus based on their own crops, create marketing materials, and develop a customized digital ordering system that sends guest orders directly from the dining room to the kitchen.
